FOREIGN CITIZENS ALSO ENJOY THE PRICES OF SUBSIDIZED GOODS

Every year, the presence of foreigners in Malaysia shows a very significant increase. Newspapers and social media often display issues related to foreigners in various negative reactions. This country is flooded with foreign workers as well as illegal immigrants in various job sectors. This indirectly has an impact on the well-being of Malaysians.

On average, the arrested illegal aliens state that Malaysia is their main destination country of choice to continue their lives after being deported or encountering a deadlock in their way of life in their country of origin. In addition, the generous and considerate nature of Malaysians is also one of the reasons that encourages them to choose Malaysia as a destination country to continue their lives and earn a living.

The attitude of not choosing the jobs and crafts of foreigners and PATIs in looking for jobs or business have a great impact on the local economic sector. Some places are seen to be dominated by them by ignoring the laws enforced in this country. This creates dissatisfaction of the local community towards the group.

Even so, there are still many Malaysians who do not understand that these foreigners also enjoy the subsidized prices of goods given by the Malaysian government. The issue of the lack of subsidized packet oil in the Kuala Muda district market has gone viral in the mass media recently. Each family is only allowed to buy one packet of the oil. There are even shops that do not have the supply of subsidized packet oil.

HOWEVER, THERE ARE SUPERMARKETS AND SHOPS THAT HAVE PACKET OIL THAT CLAIM TO SELL ANYTHING TO FOREIGNERS WITHOUT ANY CONDITIONS. EVERY FOREIGN BUYER CAN BUY SUCH SUBSIDIZED OIL EASILY AND WITHOUT ANY QUESTIONS.

The seller should have a sense of responsibility towards the country to ensure that there is no leakage of government subsidies to foreigners even if the matter is not against the current laws of the country. Perhaps the time has come for the government to create an act that government subsidized goods are only for Malaysians to enjoy. Any party or seller who sells subsidized goods to foreigners will be subject to legal action. With the act, it makes easier for the authorities to take legal action against sellers who fail to comply with the law.

We, as Malaysians, need to have a high patriotic spirit towards our country. The contribution and sense of responsibility towards the country will encourage us to be united in ensuring that the sovereignty and security of our country is protected from any threat. Therefore, let us unite and join hands with the Government’s efforts in fighting the issue of dumping foreigners. As long as our people open up opportunities for them, as long as this effort does not reach the set direction. In fact, as long as that is the case, we will share the blessings of the Government subsidy with them and as long as that is, Malaysia will be THEIR DESTINATION.
