Datok Ruslin inspected Migration Repatriation Program

PUTRAJAYA, 4 March 2024 – Datok Ruslin bin Jusoh, Director General of Immigration inspected the operation of the Migrant Repatriation Program at the Malaysian Immigration Department Headquarters, here today.

The Migrant Repatriation Program will be implemented from 1 March 2024 until 31 December 2024 in order to allow illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin voluntarily.

The Malaysian Immigration Department does not appoint any agents to deal with illegal immigrants to facilitate the Migrant Repatriation Program.

All illegal immigrants are advised to take advantage of the Migrants Repatriation Program (Out Pass).

The program is open from 1 March, 2024 until 31 December, 2024.


1. Valid Passport / Travel Document
2. Air Ticket (within 14 days from the date of applying for Out Pass)

Q. Do I need any agent to apply for Out Pass?

NO! Immigration department did not appoint any agent for this program.

Q. What if I don’t have original passport?

You need to visit your country’s embassy. Immigration department has instructed all foreign embassies to issue temporary travel documents to illegal immigrants.
